Phi Delta Epsilon International Fraternity creates physicians of integrity, with a lifelong commitment to our guiding principles; Philanthropy, Deity, Equity, and Education. Guiding our future physicians with our motto; Facta Non Verba - Deeds Not Words, we strive to create exemplary members of the community through services, mentoring, volunteering, with adequate guidance of science and ethics.

The Maryland Alpha Chapter was established at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in the Spring of 2015, being officially chartered in the Fall of 2015.
